1. About BPNet Games
BPNet Games (“BPNet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates bpnet.ca and related BPNet game subdomains. Current games include PRISMPOUR, EXOTIBBLES, and AQUASORT, and additional games or experimental features may be added later. BPNet is an independent browser-gaming project operated primarily for entertainment.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using BPNet, you agree to these Terms of Use and the BPNet Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms as BPNet changes. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
3. Accounts and account security
Some BPNet features require a central BPNet account. You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials or attempt to access another person’s account.
Profiles may include a username, avatar, status message, bio, favourite game, achievements, friends, public game history, and other optional profile information. You are responsible for information you choose to make public.
4. Community conduct
BPNet Messenger, public rooms, direct messages, profiles, uploaded images or GIFs, and other community features must not be used to threaten, harass, impersonate, exploit, defraud, spam, distribute malware, infringe another person’s rights, or post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive material.
Do not upload or share material unless you have the right to do so. You remain responsible for content you submit.
5. Messenger, direct messages and moderation
BPNet may provide public chat rooms, game rooms, direct messages, presence indicators, image/GIF uploads, reporting, blocking, and moderation tools. These features are provided for casual community use and should not be treated as a secure or confidential communications service.
BPNet Messenger and direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Messages and related records may be stored on BPNet systems and may be reviewed where reasonably necessary for moderation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, security, legal compliance, or operation of the service.
We may remove content, mute or gag users, remove users from rooms, suspend or ban accounts, restrict uploads, or take other reasonable moderation action. We are not required to monitor every message or resolve every dispute.
6. Licence for content you submit
You retain any rights you already have in content you submit to BPNet. By posting or uploading content, you grant BPNet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, resize, process, and moderate that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, or administer BPNet and its community features.
This licence ends when the content is deleted from active BPNet systems, except for copies reasonably retained in backups, security records, moderation records, or where retention is required or permitted by law.
7. Fair play and service integrity
BPNet games are for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not manipulate game clients or network requests to submit false results, exploit vulnerabilities, automate or tamper with gameplay in a way intended to gain an unfair leaderboard advantage, bypass access controls, interfere with other users, probe systems without permission, or introduce malicious code.
8. Scores, leaderboards and Arcade Score
Scores, achievements, levels, badges, pearls, in-game rewards, Arcade Score, leaderboard positions, and similar game features are for entertainment only and have no cash or monetary value. They are not wagers, financial assets, or promises of prizes.
BPNet may validate, normalize, flag, reject, correct, recalculate, merge, or remove scores and leaderboard records when reasonably necessary to address bugs, duplicated submissions, database repairs, cheating, exploits, migration issues, balancing changes, or obvious errors. Administrators may make documented score corrections through BPNet’s administrative tools.
Registered users may appear on public leaderboards even if they have not yet posted a verified score, in which case a score of zero or equivalent placeholder may be shown.
9. Beta games, resets and changing rules
Some BPNet games and features are identified as beta, experimental, or in active development. Game rules, scoring formulas, difficulty, progression, levels, special mechanics, rewards, reference scores, achievements, databases, or account integrations may change. Progress or scores may occasionally need to be reset, repaired, recalculated, or migrated.
We do not promise permanent preservation of game progress, chat history, leaderboard position, or any particular feature.
10. Free access and optional support
BPNet’s goal is to keep its games free to play and free of advertising. BPNet may provide an optional donation or support link. Donations are voluntary and do not purchase game ownership, virtual currency, special treatment, guaranteed development, guaranteed uptime, or any particular future feature.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the BPNet name and branding, site design, original game code, interface elements, original artwork, text, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to the site operator. Third-party libraries, fonts, services, and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences and ownership.
You may share ordinary screenshots, links, and gameplay clips for personal, social, review, or editorial purposes. You may not copy, sell, re-host, redistribute, or commercially exploit substantial portions of BPNet’s code, artwork, databases, or games without permission.
12. Availability, maintenance and backups
BPNet is an independent project and is provided without a service-level guarantee. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting problems, software defects, security incidents, backups, upgrades, or circumstances outside our control. We may discontinue or replace a game or feature at any time.
13. Third-party services and links
BPNet may use or link to third-party services including hosting, email, analytics, fonts, social platforms, or optional donation providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. BPNet is not responsible for third-party sites or services that it does not control.
14. Disclaimer
BPNet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties that BPNet will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for any particular purpose.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BPNet and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of game progress, loss of scores, loss of data, loss of access, or other losses arising from use of or inability to use BPNet. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of BPNet, your violation of these terms, or content you submit that infringes another person’s rights. This section does not require you to indemnify BPNet for BPNet’s own unlawful conduct.
17. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to BPNet where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, repeated rule violations, fraud, cheating, legal compliance, or protection of the service or other users. You may stop using BPNet at any time and may contact us regarding account deletion.
18. Minors
BPNet is a general-audience casual gaming service. If you are under the age at which you can legally agree to these terms where you live, you should use BPNet only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
19. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory rights or consumer protections that may apply to you in your jurisdiction.
